Kaleidoscope Society has been nominated for “Best Community Website” in the 23rd Annual Webby Awards. Hailed as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet.
This year’s Webby Awards received nearly 13,000 entries from all 50 states and 70 countries worldwide. As a Nominee this year, Kaleidoscope Society was chosen by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences as the top 5 in its category, in the world; and in the top 10% of all work entered.
Nominees like Kaleidoscope Society are setting the standard for innovation and creativity on the Internet. It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 13,000 entries we received this year.

Kaleidoscope Society is the first of its kind website for and by Women with ADHD that aims to dispel stigma and build community of support. The site features interviews with trailblazing women in a variety of fields, as well as curated expert advice. Since launching in 2015 the site has connected thousands of women around the world through original content and has been featured in Teen Vogue, Broadly, Bustle and the International Conference on ADHD.

For too long, women with ADHD have struggled in silence due to stigma. We are thrilled that the Webbys are recognizing this important topic, and we hope the awareness generated will help us continue to change perception in society.

Up to 75% of women with ADHD go undiagnosed until adulthood with life damaging consequences, creating what has been called a “lost generation of women.” Those who are diagnosed face unique challenges due to lack of scientific knowledge, resources and public understanding.
